Chartered Accountant, with over 25 years operating in senior management positions in a number of ASX listed mining and exploration companies.

Iain Macpherson - CEO

Mr Macpherson is CEO of Elemental Minerals Ltd, an Australian and Toronto listed company developing a potash project in the Republic of Congo. He has assembled a formidable team that is well underway with the development of the Sintoukola potash project - some 60 kms North of the major port of Pointe Noire - into a significant, low cost potash producer in the near term.

He is an experienced and seasoned mining executive with over 25 years experience in the mining industry in senior management and executive roles with a track record of delivery on a number of projects. He trained as a mining engineer at the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, London University and has operated extensively throughout Southern, Western and Central Africa, Western and Eastern Europe and Russia.

Mr Macpherson has operated both in the major and junior mining sectors developing and operating a number of mining projects including several IPOs and associated financing, specifically on the London and North American markets.

He joined Elemental in October 2009 and sees in the Sintoukola potash project the opportunity to once again be instrumental in growing a substantial business through developing a large scale project in a commodity that is projected to follow an exciting growth trajectory in the coming years.

John Sanders - Executive Director

Mr. Sanders is an exploration and mining geologist with 28 years of experience which includes both greenfields exploration and mining. In addition Mr. Sanders was the former Exploration Manager for UraMin and was also CEO of Niger Uranium Ltd. and, prior to that, the former East and West African regional exploration manager at AngloGold Ashanti Limited.

Ian Stalker - Non Executive Director (Independent)

Chemical Engineer, former CEO of UraMin, former CEO of Berkeley Resources. Over 35 years experience developing and managing mining projects worldwide.

Jan Castro - Non Executive Director (Independent)

Jan is the founder and chief executive officer of Pala Investments AG. In addition to Elemental Minerals he is currently a Director of Alacer Gold Corporation, Capstone Mining Corp, Nevada Copper Corp, Churchill Mining PLC, and Sierra Rutile Ltd, where he is the Chairman of the Board. He is also a director of Gemcom Software International Inc., a private company.

Prior to establishing Pala, Jan was Senior Vice President-Investments and Corporate Affairs for Mechel OAO, a major Russian mining and metals company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, where his primary responsibilities covered mergers and acquisitions, non-core asset disposals, and investor and public relations. He also managed Mechel's IPO on the NYSE.

Before joining Mechel, Jan worked for Latham & Watkins LLP where he specialized in securities and M&A transactions. In total, Jan led the IPOs of three out of the four IPOs of Russian companies on the NYSE, as well as worked on numerous mergers and acquisitions, and private equity transactions, including some of the largest M & A deals in Russia and Ukraine. Prior to Latham & Watkins, Jan was at Chadbourne & Park and White & Case, working primarily on project financings.

Jan received his J.D. and B.A. from Columbia University.

Lawrence Davidson - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Davidson graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1991, and has held senior financial management roles for the past 20 years. He recently occupied the position of managing director of DF2 Consulting (Pty) Ltd., a South African financial and management consulting company, a position he had held for the past 5 years. Prior to this Mr. Davidson was a management consultant to Barclays Bank plc, as part of their Barclays Africa integration team.

Mr. Davidson spent the early part of his career within the investment banking field, holding various financial management positions at Gensec Bank Ltd., a specialist South African investment bank, and was part of a group of employees to successfully set up and manage Gensec Bank’s Irish domiciled operation, Gensec Ireland Ltd., in Dublin, Ireland during 1999-2001.
