Ilja D.Graulich - Investor Relations Manager

Mr Graulich is a former journalist who has spent the last 10 year in various Investor Relations roles, primarily in the mining industry. He was Head of Investor Relations and Communications and subsequently Strategic Development Officer at DRDGold, while holding non-executive board positions in Emperor Mines, Goldmoney.com and Rand Refinery Limited.

Following a year as Vice-President: Investor Relations for NASDAQ listed IT company Net 1 UEPS Technologies, Mr Graulich formed his own consultancy, Lucidity, assisting junior mining companies with their communications needs. His then client, Gold One International approached him to take up a full-time position with the company as Vice President Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations Manager.

Mr Graulich joined Elemental Minerals at the beginning of 2012.

Ken Wheeler - General Manager - Sintoukola Potash SA

Mr Wheeler has over 25 years experience as a geologist in the African mining and exploration industry. During this time he mainly focussed on the gold sector, however, recently became exposed to commodities such as tin, tungsten, niobium, tantalum and potash.

Previously Exploration Manager for AngloGold Ashanti, Mr Wheeler was part of a team which successfully completed a Feasibility Study on the Mongbwalu Gold Project in the North-eastern DRC. In addition, he managed numerous Brownfields and Greenfields exploration projects in West and Central East Africa.

Werner Swanepoel - Project Manager

Mr. Swanepoel is a professional mining engineer with 20 years’ experience which includes mining operations, mine management, consulting and project development. Mr. Swanepoel was a project manager for Uramin since 2005 and helped advance several uranium projects from exploration to a bankable feasibility study prior to the acquisition of Uramin by Areva in 2007. Mr. Swanepoel was retained as VP Technical Services for Areva Resources Southern Africa after the acquisition, a position he held until joining Elemental Minerals Ltd in 2011.

Prior to joining Uramin, Mr. Swanepoel was a senior mining consultant at Hatch Africa, managing studies in various commodities. He spent the early part of his career up to 2005 in mining operations in the iron ore and coal mining industry and holds Mine Manager’s Certificates of Competency for both Metalliferious and Coal mining in South Africa.
